Dr. Velina Tzankova

Dr. Velina Tzankova is a board-certified Neurologist with fellowship training in Headache Medicine. She completed her training at the University of Toronto. 

Dr. Tzankova's practice interests include the following:

- Management of complex/treatment refractory migraine

- Headache management through the reproductive life-stages (conception, pregnancy, menopause)

- Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalalgias (ex. cluster headache, paroxysmal hemicrania)  

- Atypical & secondary headache disorders such as headaches associated with high/low CSF pressure.

Dr. Tzankova is trained in procedural management of headache, including botulinum toxin injections and cranial nerve blocks.
